KALAAKAAR KEE KALA

Kalakaar Kee Kala is a program initiated by The Be Dauntless Foundation, a youth-led initiative who are determined to transform the lives in slum areas by intensifying brain-storming sessions through which we instill creative thinking, teamwork and leadership skills in students.

Studies revealed that in India, more than 40% of students lack creativity and imagination. Creativity and imagination are goals that rely on both intellectual and innovative domains. It has been observed, developing economies tend to lean towards acquiring intellectual assets in order to survive in a competitive market. To achieve lasting robustness, an ingenious mind is the most important unit to sustained development. As Einstein rightly quoted, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."

Under the Kalaakaar Kee Kala program, Dauntless Foundation organized Drawing Competitions for the under-privileged students to unleash their creativity and to ignite their passion. It allowed students to tap upon their creative potential and display innovation which goes beyond work-specific skills. The campaign aimed to contribute to diversity in thought inclusion and increasing the quality of education. It was a grand success. We provided an outlet for creativity that fosters exploration and experimentation as well as it gave way to ambition and passion towards unconventional thinking.
